Understanding your bill
What your plan includes, how overage is calculated, and where to see usage.
What is metered
- Pages sent and received. Counted per page, not per fax. A failed fax is not counted. - Fax numbers. Charged monthly per number held. - Storage. Counted as the total size of documents retained. - Secure link sends. Counted per exchange, not per recipient.
Overage
Each plan includes an allowance. Usage above it is charged at the per-unit rate shown on your plan, and only for the amount above the allowance.
Usage shows where you are against your allowance during the month, so an overage is never a surprise at the end of it.
Where the numbers come from
Metering records every page as it is transmitted, and your invoice is composed from those records. Usage and your invoice read the same data, so if they ever disagree, that is a bug worth reporting rather than an explanation you should have to work out.
