No surprises at the end of the month
Usage is metered as it happens and shown in the product before it is invoiced.
Metered as it happens
Every page sent or received is recorded at the time, with the running total visible on your usage page.
Allowances first
You pay overage only on what exceeds your plan allowance, and the overage rate is on this page.
Invoice preview
Your billing page shows the current period’s line items before the invoice is issued.
Change plans anytime
Moving between plans changes your allowances immediately; nothing about your data or settings changes.
Payment processing is not connected yet
VitalFax is in early access. Plans, allowances, metering and invoices are fully functional, but no card processor is connected, so nothing is charged automatically. Early customers are invoiced directly.

Common pricing questions
- Is any feature locked behind a higher plan?
- No. Routing, audit, secure exchange, the API and webhooks are on every plan. Plans differ in included volume, users and numbers.
- What counts as a page?
- A transmitted page, inbound or outbound, as reported by the fax provider. A cover page counts as one page. Pages are recorded individually so you can check the total against the fax list.
- What if we go over in one busy month?
- Overage is billed at the per-page rate shown on your plan. Nothing stops working and no document is refused because of volume.
- Do you charge for failed faxes?
- Outbound pages are metered on delivery. A transmission that never delivers does not add delivered pages to your usage.
